OH MY DOM!!!! CABLE!!!! INTERNET ACCESS!!!! YET ANOTHER ACCURSED HURRICANE!!!!!!
Yes....*happy sigh* I just got cable back. My unhappy time of actually wishing for dial-up is over for now. On the extreme downside, I get shipped off to Georgia to-morrow to wait out Ivan with me grandparents. Aaaaargh. Buuuut....I'm going to try to get up pretty early to-morrow to try to talk to any of ye I can.
Aaaah, I SOOO happy to be back, even for just one night. So much catching up to do!

Yes, I hope you enjoy yerself! *cackles, also* Uhm.. so.. we might have power knocked out for quite awhile again, if the weather people's predictions are correct (which they are getting paid too much, by the way, considering what they do..) As for evacuating, it seems a bit impossible, just considering a few little details and such that has to do with a certain someone in my family. We might just go up to the hospital and stay in the lobby while it passes or something. *nod nod* And if I die, let everyone know.. *dramatic pause* that I heart Amby. ;D Another thing, if it does come up here, it will hit on Tuesday... they're planning on having school Monday... when we need to be preparing and evacuating and such! *stabs them* So, how's that school arrangment working down there for you guys, Mip and Leo? It sounds a bit confuzzling from what I've heard. Two schools going to one school or something? I write long posts, don't I? *blinks*

Woo! I'm back! Ergh....Georgia. Ergh....grandparents. Thank Dom I'm back, even if I have to go to school to-day and should be doing biology homework right now. *shifty look* I missed ye all!
Ala, the school thing down here is that Mip's school stays on their campus and goes from 6 AM to...uhm...11 something, I believe. Then they clean the school out, and bus my school in to go from 12:45 to 5:55. It's working out okay, actually. I really like it, but then, I don't have to get up at like 4 in the morning. They're supposed to be bringing 90 portables (yes, 90. Eeeeeep. 0.o) in to my school so we can get back on campus by like...January Or something.

*grins* Hallo! I'm very very uber-glad that Ivan and Florida shall not 'ave a chance to meet, yes indeed.
As to the school - that's awful. Awful awful awful. *stabs you school* Stupid school, going and getting destroyed. I knew that that was happening, but wasn't sure if ye all were having to do that.. *huggles Mip* Getting up at 4 am.. ergh. Just ergh. And ye say it 'as to last all semester?! *uber-dies* I hate hurricanes.

Yes, I heard it was some schedual like that. Where it's half the day and such. Sounds complicating, and annoying.. you'd have to relearn where all yer classes are and such, and the teachers would be using the same rooms and all, right? Waking up that early must get a bit annoying, too. Portables don't sound that fun, either. But the school hours seem shorter! I think.. *stares at times for a few seconds* Okay, not really..
Actually, Ivan is going over the Panhandle, it seems. Over there by Panama City and Pensicola. That's what I've been hearing... and that it will hit about Thursday.

No, it did hit the panhandle of Florida, but at the time you wrote that, no, it did not touch Florida yet, I believe. But, it did go over the Panhandle, as all the weather people were predicting...

*sighs* Ye all, there's something ye must know.
Mip will not be back for a long, long time. Namely, October. Most possibly late October. The same was divulged to me in a letter the nature of which was 'e-mail,' sent through that illustrious distributor of said 'e-mail,' one 'Hotmail.'
Yes, so that's The Long and Short of It. *Che Gelida Manina starts up in the backgroud* Y'know, somehow I think E Lucevan le Stelle would suit lots better. Especially the part where Russell Watson's voice cracks and you can just imagine the character breaking down in despair. But that's another matter entirely.
Don't think I'm happy about it, I'm not. I'm just trying to put a brave face on things.. *points to avatar* 'S what must be done, no? Got to at least attempt to live up to that avatar.. though to be sure I don't deserve it.
*joins everyone else in crying* So we'll be Mip-less for a good long while yet, and oh, shan't we just feel it sorely, though?
