Uhm, there's a possibility I might be gone for awhile. Bad week. Started high school. Hurricane came. Fun fun.
Right, so the hurricane might force me to leave ye all for a few days. I don't think it will, but it might. I just thought I tell ye all so you don't think I'm dead and eat cake without me. ^^

Ha ha, that hurricane... there was a school assembly today, but it was sprinkling, sprinkling! and they canceled it, despite that when they actually announced it was canceled, the sun was shining! But, the thing is, they rescheduled it to Friday, when what is left of the hurricane comes up here. *shakes head at them* Is that stupid or what? *finds it all amusing*

Oh, please.. they've been telling us we have to cancel school and probably evacuate here.. and it's not even raining. At all. Not. At. All. I remember Hurricane Georges... everyone panicked, nothing happened. Anyway, I might be gone too then, same reason as Lëo.

Heh, yeah. My school canceled our Open House for to-night because of the hurricane. But they didn't actually tell anyone they had canceled it. They e-mailed the teachers, but they didn't check their e-mail in class, so....I bet some people still turn up to-night. Hah.

Well, just because nothing has happened in our life time, does mean it hasn't happened before... hardly anyone down there has experienced a hurricane because they're all from somewhere else... and I know that the younger people have lived there their wholes lives, but... okay, do I have to restate the first sentence again.. or is it clear?
If I still lived down there, we'd be gone already... because by the time its clear where the hurricane is going, everyone, and I mean everyone (note that there is A LOT of people that live down there) is going to evacuate at the same time. Thus, the roads will be jammed and everyone will be stuck... and quite screwed. The highways down there aren't big enough to support the population. And some people down there are, quite frankly, ignorant the that fact and all the things mentioned above. Because they have no idea what a hurricane is like, because most of them, have only lived there for 15 years at the most. Thus, the whole place is screwed.
EDIT: *ahem* *points to first line in sig*
Oh, yeah.. we even prepared up here. Because the power might go out. And stay out. For weeks upon weeks. So we went and got a bunch of food. And if the power looks like it will be out for more than a few days, we're gonna go to the panhandle...
They say its going to be a Category 4 hurricane... *nod nod* and our schools closed down, too.

I'll be gone the 14th through the 28, although not because of the hurricaine. We don't get such things in the midwest -- just tornados. I'll be visiting my grandma in New Jersey.
