Amarië saw something move in the corner of her eye. She saw what looked like Mip's and Billy's figures moving behind some furniture. Amarië had always had good eyesight in the dark, better than other people she knew at least. She squinted and noticed Mip and Billy were wearing some strange devices in front of thier eyes. She was glad she had put the object in her jacket earlier. She looked over at Dom. He had taken the goggles off, and was just looking about. Amarië reached over and took them from him, placing them on her own face.
She turned to see Mip partially hidden behind some furniture. She knew she was up to something and just sat back, watching and waiting for something to happen. The rain still poured outside and everyonce in a while lightning would pop, making a few people jump. The rain pattered so forcefully against the window and roof, you had to be paying really close attention to catch what someone was saying.
Amarië reached into her pocket and took out a piece of paper. She studied it carefully. There were small gears on the goggles that would focus, making a sound, not that you could hear it, because of the rain. Dom's head began to slowly lean foreward. He was falling asleep. Amarië hit him on the shoulder lightly and he jerked up.
'What? What happened? What did I miss?' he asked, rubbing his eye.
'You fell asleep, and you didn’t miss anything... just a few people moved about...' Amarië replied.
'Oh, okay then,' he said.
Amarië knew that if she truly wanted to, she could take out her flashlight and let everyone be active again, but for some reason, she didn’t want to. It wouldn't set everything up perfectly.
Amarië postioned herself and Dom so that she was facing the corner, and Dom was facing the rest of the room. Being tied to one and in a position like that, it isn't quite comforting, so she tried to work as quickly as possible. Leaning against Dom's back, she fiddled with the object. She whispered a few words to Dom, he nodded and tried to remain awake, wearing the goggles and keeping an eye out.
Amarië had the object set upon her knee, and fiddled with all the switches. The lights suddenly flickered on for a fraction of a second, and then off again. 'Wrong button,' Amarië mumbled to herself and continued to fiddle with it. At last, she had had it... now the lights would never see light again... if that makes sense...
Amarië then, sticking the object back into her jacket, walked over to the chairs and sat down. She smiled at her success. Taking the object out one last time, she switched the switch to the ON side, nothing happened. Quickly putting it away, she now could ponder over what next.

Mippin glnced over, watching Dom and Amarië perfectly. She realised that they had caught sight of her and Billy. At the immediate illumination and fading of the lights, Mippin percieved many things. She restrained from bursting out her conclusion.
Mippin looked over at Billy and waved her hand slowly in front of his face...the device in front of his eyes seemed to fade away, but they could still see. She did the same to her own, then she pressed a button.
'What was that for?' Billy said.
'Just knock on it.' Mippin thought.
Billy looked at Mip oddly, then knocked on the thin air. He suddenly realised. At last he spoke. 'How did you know what I was thinking? Was it that obvious?' he asked.
Mippin shook her head and waited for a while. 'Not at all, it's just one of those things...' she spake at last.
Mippin noticed that Dom was nodding off. Amarië was trying to keep him awake. Mippin had keen hearing, and could make out most of what was said. It was rather amusing really, but Mippin kept her mouth shut, choked on her food, and died. Wait no..just the first.
Mip took yet something else from her pocket. Then she grabbed Billy's arm, and cut the string tied around his other wrist off. She then tied it slowly to a cog, and stuffed it inside, then she let it loose.
Flipping a panel on her watch, she waited for the small rodent-shaped object to scurry over to Dom. At the right time, Mippin tapped something at her watch, and the rodent dissolved, leaving nothing but the string left. Mippin watched intently, counting off the seconds before Dom noticed the string, and picked it up. 15 seconds. As usual. He began fiddling with it, but stopped short when the dusty remains of the rodent-thing, began to glow.
He looked over at it, reading the words Mippin set up as he fiddled with the string. She counted again. She was very observant, and after having been tied to him so long, she knew his thought pattern, and how long it took to process things upstairs.
Dom soon looked up, and Mippin flipped her wrist, causing Billy to help her push down on the giant button in front of them. A screen seemed to appear, and Dom watched it intently. Mippin gazed at him, and focused. He watched, seeming to get tense, then he relaxed, and collapsed. He had fallen asleep. The string, still in his hand.
Mippin signaled for Billy to push the large button once more, and the screen dissapeared again.
'And you invented this?' he asked her, skeptically.
'I was bored, and subliminal messaging is very...shall we say...potent.' Mippin said, her voice menacing, yet silky, slithering out into the darkness. Mippin put up a small shield in front of them. It was painted a flat black colour, but they could still see through it. It prevented anyone from seeing them at first glance.

Amarië saw that Dom had fallen asleep again. She slapped him on the shoulder lightly. 'Dom, wake up... I need you to do something.' Dom didn’t budge. Amarië noticed a string in his hand. She took it and examined it. It ran all the way over to the corner where Mip had been and then disappeared. Amarië tugged on it, and at first it didn’t move. Then suddenly, Amarië tugged it and it let some slack.
Amarië raised an eyebrow and looked again at Dom. She dropped the string. Taking out a digital camera, she held it up to Dom's face. He suddenly jerked up and tried to take the camera. Amarië quickly hid it while he was still groggy. Looking back down at where the string was- or had been, she saw it was gone. She raised her eyebrow again and looked at Dom, who was now fully awake.
There was only one person who could be behind this: Mip. She looked around and now sow Mip had moved to another side of the room. She raised her eyebrow one last time (for now at least). 'I have to go do something,' Amarië muttered, eyeing Mip oddly.
'Erm, okay...' Dom replied, forgetting that he would have to go with her. On the way out the door, Dom tripped over the mystery box, sending both of them down. Fortunately, there were only a few bruises. Out the door, Amarië dragged Dom.
She had walked down to the basement of the odd building, and began tampering with the wiring.
'What are we doing?' Dom asked.
'I would tell you, but even here I do not feel as though I can,' Amarië said, pausing and eyeing all the dark shadows of the room.
'Oh, this must be that plan of yours, what was on the paper,' Dom said. He took a piece of paper out of his pocket and examined it carefully.
'Shhh! Someone could be listening,' she paused, eyeing the dark shadows and the door of the room again, 'Besides, you have a job to do...'
'Oh, yes... watch the door,' Dom said turning towards the door. A figure walked past quickly. 'Err... umm... Amarië?'
'What is it now, Dom?'
'There... the-' Dom said stuttering.
'There is what, a flaw in my plan? I assure you, I have gone over every aspect of it,' Amarië said, fiddling with something.
'No, its just... there... Amarië, someone is out there...' Dom said in a low voice.
'What?' Amarië said turning. Dom pointed to the door. Amarië eyed him oddly and then put on her goggles, she handed Dom a spare pare, and they both ventured out into the hall.
Amarië and Dom peeked their heads out first, looked left and right. They saw no one. 'Dom, there is nothing... now I really have to get back to this...' Amarië said.
'But...' Dom hesitated... 'I saw...'
'Well you just keep an eye out...' Amarië handed him something wrapped in cloth. He took it and unfolded a gun.
'You want me to shoot them?!' he gasped.
'No-! erm... yes, you shoot them... if anyone comes in shoot them...' Amarië said. Then she walked up to Dom and handed him something she had scribbled down on a piece of paper.
'Ah, okay... I will shoot them, if anyone tries to come in here... I will shoot them...' Dom said, aiming the gun at the door, Amarië still fiddling with a few wires.

Naurwen was now very confused, not being the quickest person at times. She didn't know what Amarië or mippin was doing and wasn't sure she wanted to know. She fidgeted around and shuffled closer to Brad.
"Brad...w'as going on?" She asked him, her voice barely more then a whisper and filled with an inexplicable excitement.
"I'm not sure....I think they're up to no good." He replied in an uncertain way.
Naurwen frowned, though nobody could see it. She swallowed her nerves and put her free hand in her pocket, bringing out a porcelain harlequin doll wearing a shiny pink and silver jester's outfit that shimmered slightly in the heavy darkness. She clutched it like a safety blanket and shook it slightly so that the bells on his jingle delicately and quietly. She licked her lips and began to sing quietly to herself.
"One pill makes you larger and one pill makes you small, and the ones that mother gives you don't do anything at all..."

Mippin gathered her stuf, and followed Amarië and Dom. She and Billy slinked by, soundlessly. As they reached the hallway, they saw a door at the end of it, and watched as Amarië led Dom inside.
Mippin pushed a button on her watch, then stuck her hand out directly in front of her. She hit something..but there was nothing there. 'Perfect' she whispered to herself.
They proceeded towards the door, expecting a full on rush, and wonder if they could join in on the plot.
As Mippin opened the door, she did not expect Dom to be there, pointing a gun at her. Nor did she expect what happened next, to happen next. Dom shot her. She was astonished really.
She took this time to fake her death. Grasping at her heart, and using a little aparatus for blood flow. She had always wanted to fake her death, and spent a good long time planning it. She groaned, and fell to the cold, tile floor, pulling Billy down with her.
She tried to get up, but to no avail. Coughing, and struggling to breathe, the blood pouring down her arm, and jacket, Mippin spoke. 'I never...thought...it..would be you.' she said, strained, and her head hit the floor.
Dom rushed over to the door, bewildered at his unconcious murder. He cried out, not knowing what to do. He stared, frozen at the doorway, watching the blood ooze out onto the floor, staining everything.
At last Mippin struggled up, falling over, in her own blood. 'I,' she said, now coughing up even more blood. 'I thought you were...my friend.' she said, laying on the guilt.
Amarië soon spoke, and looked at the gory mess, Mippin had become. 'The gun wasn't loaded though...' she said, skeptically looking down at all the blood. Billy was covered in blood too, as Mippin tried to use him to hoist herself up.
Dom still gazed down in horror. Amarië rolled her eyes though, and said again. 'It wasn't loaded, Mip... not...loaded.'
At this, Mippin sprang up, and jumped for joy. 'It's a miracle! I'm alive, I'm ALLIIIIVE!!!!' she said gaily. She twirled around, swinging Billy round with her, then she hugged Amarië and Dom tightly, smearing 'blood' all over them. She stepped back, grinned, and then winced, prepared to get smacked repeatedly.
Instead Amarië asked her what she and Billy wanted. Mippin replied.
'We want in. We've always been a team, and just because Dom psuedo-shot me, and I've just psuedo-died, and you've all the psuedo-blood to psuedo-remind you of your heinous psuedo-crime, doesn't make that any different!' Mippin winked, and stood up straight..but was soon twitching. Amarië took it upon herself to 'psuedo-smack' Mippin...unfortunately...the pain wasn't so 'psuedo'.
Mippin pressed on, and handed everyone a towel to get the fake blood off of them, she left the blood on the floor though, she figured it would be a nifty joke to play on someone, if ever they came through that hallway.

'Erm... in on it heh? Even Dom doesn't know what it is exactly... Do ya Dom?' Amarië asked him. He was still a bit in shock on what Mip had done.
'No... I don't.. but being tied to you, I had no choice but to go along with whatever you are scheming up there in your mind,' he said, trying to wipe some of the 'blood' off of him.
'Well...' someone said.
'So I guess you all want to know what this big scheme is, heh? Okay... I guess I'll tell you...' Amarië walked over to a table, she slid all the junk that had clustered in it off and took out a giant piece of paper, covering the whole table. Mip's, Billy's, and Dom's eyes all widened with wonder. 'I knew you followed me all along, and that was part of the plan. I knew your suspicion would get the best out of you, leading you straight into my trap. Now I couldn't very well talk about my plan in front of the others, now could I?
'No, I could not,' Amarië said. She took out a metal stick, pressed a button, causing to to extend twice its size, and pointed at something on the paper. 'Step one is complete. I have aquired all the buildings power to this remote control,' Amarië pulled out a controller with numerous buttons. 'Now... down to the dirt, down to what I have to accomplish... Mip, please lock shut the door, checking for spies first.'
Mip and Billy peaked their heads out then bolted the door shut. 'Thank'ee. Now...' her voice trailed off as they all listened intently.
'This building has no exit, we are stuck in a spot in time, put here by some beings from another world. A world of connections, complicated wiring, and some really obsessed Tolkienites... This building holds all we need, and it has only one purpose, to amuse some higher beings by being tied to one another....
'I have found a map. It is a map of the whole building... I know where those actors/actresses waiting to be tied are held, where every single thing we need is held... and I can control it all... with this remote...' Amarië said holding up the remote again.
'Now that I have gained control over the buildings power sorce, I can continue with my plan... which is...'

They all listened intently for an hour as Amarië explained her plan an great detail. 'And that is what we shall do. That was the purpose of my whole plan,' she replied. Everyone else was wide-eyed with wonder. 'Okay, we should get moving now... dont want the others to get suspicious and come looking for us...'
Amarië and Dom left first. Then ten minutes later, Mip and Billy followed. Amarië opened the door. It was still pitch black and seemed as if they never left in the first place.
When Mip and Billy had come in and had settled down, Amarië took out her controller and messed around with a few buttons. Dom studied the controller as she worked. Suddenly the lights flickered on. Everyone was in a daze as their eyes adjusted from the pitblackness to the bright lights.

Mip shut her eyes tight for a while, and let the bliding lights absorb into her eyelids. At last, she opened them, revealing the others in the room. She looked around and took in her surroundings. She saw everyone repeatedly blinking at the bright luminescence. She saw Firi and Ara, who had just awoken to the lights, and were sitting bolt upright. Aunt Orlanda looked terribly worn out, he mustn't have gotten any rest. Elijah was leaning on the table, blinking up at the lights. Naurwen adn Brad were also looking around, and exchanging a few words. Amarië seemed to be plotting something else, and Dom began playing with the string again. Mippin sighed, as was her wont to do when bright light was in the matter.
Mippin tilted her head and turned to Billy. 'Is it me, or does it seem, awfully bright?' Billy looked around quickly then spake. 'It's probably just the switch from pitch black to light.' Mip looked up, taking out a pair of sunglasses. She looked at her watch. 'It's brighter...much..too..bright.' She closed her jacket around her, as if to keep the light from seeping into her skin and eating at her soul. Making her way over to Amarië and Dom, she consulted them.
'Is it supposed to be this bright?' Mip asked Amarië. Amarië pointed to the control, and uttered a few words. 'Ah.' Mip replied. She dragged Billy over to the light switch, and flipped it off. The lights went out. It wasn't pitch black, but still dark enough. Mippin took off her sunglasses, and loosened her jacket. 'Much better.' she said. Amarië glared at her, then began to pick up the control once more.

Arwen walked into the room. "Uh, could I be tied to the tie fondler? I'm not sure where she is, but I would kinda liked to be chained to her. Maybe I could control her love for ties?"

Everyone stopped talking, and looked up to see the figure that dare be tied to the tie-fondler. They gaped up at Arwen. Mippin stood, dragging Billy up with her. He struggled to get her to sit back down, but she wouldn't let him. 'Are you sure about this?' Mip asked her sternly, looking straight into her eyes. Arwen nodded valiently, and Mip then nodded. Billy struggled as much as possible to dissuade Mip from doing this. She looked over at Elijah, who had ducked underneath a table, and was shaking like a leaf in the wind. Mippin hid hertie in her jacket, and made sure Billy wasn't wearing a tie, then the two led Arwen out the door, across the hall to the janitors' closet.
'You're..positive you want to go through with this?' Mippin asked her once more. Arwen nodded again. 'You are strong, mellon nin!' Mip cried out, as she put her hand on the door knob. She slowly opened the door, and using quick evasive movements, tied her down, and to Arwen before she could lash out. Mip then stood her up, and looked at the two.
She then turned to Billy, 'I have to let them back in the room...' she whispered. Billy tried not to try and run away, but it was useless. His fear was blatantly obvious, but he choked, and nodded slowly. Mippin patted him on the back, and they led Arwen and the Tie-Fondler back in.
'Now, if she ends up trying to get the One Tie, I'm going to have to untie you, and put her back in the closet.' Mip warned Arwen. She nodded again, and they all went back to the room.

Firi lifted her head from Orli's shoulder. It certainly seemed like she had missed a lot. Naurwen was here now with Brad! Firi smiled and waved with her free hand. She looked into a corner and gasped. There was the Tie-Fondler again!!!!! Firi opened her mouth to scream in horror when she saw Arwen was tied to her. Firi never thought that Arwen would take her suggestion so seriously, or maybe she did. Firi decided that her group had been ignored long enough. Orli leaped up and yelped loudly when Firi poked him in the side. Ara came tumbling out of his lap and sat up quickly with a confuzzled look on her face. "For pete's sake let's do something!" cried Firi. "Great idea." said Ara, "But what?" "I don't know." said Firi, "We've tortured Orli, been tortured, picked up ties, made a tie masterpiece, slept, fought the Tie Fondler..." At this the said person gave a little growl making Firi jump. Arwen quickly calmed her though, thank goodness. Firi sat back down with Orli and Ara and tried to think of something to do......

The sudden light was a releif to Naurwen and Brad, who had been whispering to eachother for a while now. The light brought back vision so they could see eachother and everyone else in the room.
Just then Arwen entered and asked to be tied to the Tie-Fondler....
WAIT A MINUTE!!!
Naurwen gasped loudly and Brad winced as they watched her get tied to the ravenous Tie-Fondler!
As they were watching this, Naurwen noticed Firi wave at her in a very friendly manner, so Naurwen waved back and threw an inflatable dictionary at her.
Brad inspected the beautiful harlequin doll that was now lying on the floor, as though forgotten. He slowly reached out and picked it up in his hand. The bells jingled again.
"That's unusual, Naurwen. Where'd you get it?"
Naurwen smiled up at Brad.
"My sister gave it to me, ain't it Spiffy?
Brad nodded slowly. Naurwen's smile turned into a grin.
"Not half as Spiffy as your Fu Manchu though, Derf!!"

"What have I done!" wondered Arwen, as she sat tied to the Tie Fondler. She was hunched over fondling a tie. "Okay, repeat with me 'I do not love ties" urged Arwen This sent the Tie fondler into a rage. Arwen was forced to yank the tie from her, and use it as a gag. However, she knew it wouldn't hold long

Arwen made an attempt to turn the tie fondler from her e-vile ways. Amarië knew it would be hard, but then again, she now had Dom's camera-eating habbit under control, yet... that is not as bad as the Tie Fondlers e-vile habbit...
Amarië's, or should I say Billy's, tie began to feel tight around Amarië's neck. She glanced nervously at the Tie Fondler, who was fondling the tie gleefully. Amarië glanced over at Elijah. He had beads of sweat running down his forehead. He nervously tugged at his tie. It is time.
Amarië took out her controller. Dom looked over at it, then Amarië, and nodded. She flicked a switch and the lights slowly dimmed. It was still pouring outside. The rain seemed to pelt against the window louder now that it was dark. The fondling of a tie could be heard over where the tie fondler was sitting. It stopped. Amarië could swear her heart skip a beat out of fear. She thought she heard something move in that direction.
Amarië pannicked and dragged Dom to the oppisite corner of the room. They hid behind a plant. Soon, Amarië realized what she had done. Dom began to lean against the plant, stroking the trunk, or trunk-like thing. Great, she thought. She had to pull him off the tree and into the other corner.
She heard Elijah scream. Everyone stirred. 'What was that?' someone said.

'AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' came the high-pitched blood-curdling scream. Mip whipped out a pitch pipe, and played a high g...the scream was a bit higher than that. Mip assumed it was about an a...Dude would make an awesome opera singer... Mip thought as she felt her ears bleed. Mip looked around in the darkness, she sensed fondling coming from both sides of the room. Mip leaned over towards Billy. 'There's a tree over there isn't there?' Billy nodded. Mip could see Amarië struggling to pry Dom off the tree, but just barely. Mip cringed, and knew Amarië would scold her for what she was about to do, but she couldn't take the fondling. It gave off some weird vibe..
Mip took out a digital camera, and waved it in the air. No sooner than she had done this, Amarië and Dom were seated right beside Mip and Billy, who were convienently wedged in a far corner, nearly behind the bar. Mip winced, and shuddered. She could feel Amarië's cold glare. After the feeling wore away, Mip waited for a moment, then whispered to Amarië, and the rest of the motley crew. 'What now?' Amarië glared at her again. 'I had it under control you know...' Mip smiled sheepishly. In any event, it was always amusing to watch someone eat a camera...
