Someone (who shall remain unknown at the moment) in my family is having a baby. *nods* and I want it to have a Middle-earth-like name. Something that can pass off as a real name, but still is Tolkien related... I already suggested William and Pippin... since they are both real names... but... Im not sure... they say out great great (great?) grandfather was named William (*snackles*) so... maybe...
any ideas? I already know what Mip will say... so I won't bother... names for both male and female... *nods* not sure which it shall be... the due date is estimated to be in October... *nods again*

Elenna, if it's a girl. ^^
William, if it's a girl, William, if it's a boy.
em...William works...hmm..let's see... Brego! er.. heh.. ^^ Merry! (could be Mary..but don't spell it that way)
*ponders*
I like Éowyn and Éomer..but..heh..
You could just use William... and Dominic. XDXD I'm okay, really, I am.
Or Emily! *nudges Ara and Firi unslyly*

Hehehe. Emily is a very lofty name indeed! *nod* ;-) Boy: Billy, Dominic, Estel, Mandos, Ulmo, John, Ronald, Reuel, or Christopher. Girl: Estella, Diamond, Rosie, Varda, Yavanna, Nienna, or Aredhel. Thos are all that come to mind at this time. More later perhaps. ;D

Khamûl!!! ;D Hehe...maybe not? What about....Finwë, Imrahil, Duinhir, Faramir, Ecthelion, ëonwë, Durufin, Peregin, or Meriadoc for a boy. Finduilas, Celebrían, Elanor, Luthien, Estella, Théodwyn, or Nimrodel for a girl. I like all of the kind-of-obscure spiffy names.

I very much like Nimrodel, Yavanna and Estel. They aren't so weird that the poor kid would murder their parents for naming them that. ;D Girl: Elentari, Tari, Arwen, Miriel, Niniel Boy: Earendil, Olwe.. Eru? I can't think of any more..

*nods* Emily is a very spiffy name! ;D Girl: Galadriel(I know three people with that name, honest to Eru!), Anna, Elenna ^^, Jordan(that just popped up : , Ruby, Summer, Brook, Willow(Yes, I know a girl with that name). I think Sam is the perfect boy name. You could choose the names of the actors perhaps?

Why's everyone suggesting Elenna? I love that name. It's my name at the Citadel. Very nice indeed. And what made you say Jordan, Ara? That was Spiffy, but random..... Well, why not go with things I might name my children? Girls: Estel (yes, I would seriously use this for a girl!), Luthien, Elanor, Rosie, Marigold, Rowan, Nessa, maybe? Boys: Sam, short for Samwise, Pippin, short for Peregrin, Dior, maybe, Beren, Merry, perhaps, Periadoc!
