Well, I didn't really want to make a thread on the whole of the HoME series, because I haven't read them..so..it's just on BoLT I & II
What did you think of them? I, shamefully, haven't read them all, but what I have read so far, I love. I've heard that they were dreadfully confusing, but to me, it doesn't seem confusing at all, what say the rest of ye fair townspeople?

I loved the Lost Tales. They're extremely interesting. I love seeing what Tolkien orginally wrote and then look over the Silmarillion and see what he ended up with.

They're very spiffy, but I haven't read them in forever. And it gets confusing, though, if you've read them and not read the Silm in a while. You get your facts mixed up. I was forever searching for the part of Beren and Luthien with Beren as a slave of Te-viledo the cat..... and then I realised it was in BoLT II.

I'm surprised you haven't found them. I think mine were a gift, so no help there, but I occasionally see them at Borders... I don't really go to Barnes and Noble, but I think they have them, too. That's the thing about HoME, though... Sometimes you find them, sometimes you don't. They're really quite elusive when they choose to be.

Tell me about it. Most frustrating. It doesn't matter, really, though. I don't have any money to buy them anyway! I'll have to hunt them down at the library or something... Abedithon le, ~Takua

Hunt them down. Heh. *pictures Saphy creeping through the brush, arrow on string, stalking BoLT*

*SNORK!* ;D More like a double-shot crossbow; gotta get 'em fast, those things are elusive!
