-.^ I'm very glad to have the president I do... and I support him all the way... I believe that we should have troops in Iraq, because freedom does have a cost.. and if you have to lose a few men, so be it, and I hate those mothers out there who are so sad about their son or daughter dying in Iraq and are protesting the president, because they chose to join the army, and they have died in honour! and I do think same sex marriage is wrong, and I'm glad he's banning it, because homosexuals should not have the same rights as other Americans, because you are not born gay, such as African Americans or peoples of other races... you learn it... and I think that if we would have one of these other stupid peeps as our president, then we would be darneded by now. For then they would stop us from fighting for our country, and then the terrorists would just keep attacking us... and we would be up to our heads with gay peeps... and I hate all these confounded protestors, because if they get their way, our country will be doomed! sorry.. I stand up for the pres... and I don't like when peeps put him down... and I also don't like when peeps follow what other peeps say just because of who they are... and I feel like stabbing those confounded protestors! they should die... really.. someone should go stab them and burn their filthy signs...*takes pitchfork and torch and runs madly away* they deserve to be doomed.. and I feel like laughing in their faces... so some part of me wants something like that to happen so I can show them how foolish they really are! *stabs wall* besides.. since the president was just in Florida... he'll probably be somewhere else... now his wife is a different story.. stupid woman is incouraging kids to read Harry Potter (is e-vile!). EDIT: sorry... again... about that peeps.. I'm very defensive of what I believe... and messing with the current president, who I support all the way, just rubs me the wrong way... (do I seem repetitive to you, or is it just me... or both?) ah, and thank'ee for caring too, Marigold and Mippin... em... yes... in the chat room, for Mari, that is.

Aw, you're welcome. I wish I could have said goodbye to you better....... I had been told a million times to get off the computer, though, and my parents were quite unhappy with me, so there wasn't much I could do......
I miss you already! And we'll definately feel the loss of you all this week in the evenings.....
Heh... I agree with just about all of your rant. I would say all, but I built in an escpae clause for my own protection..... heh. I think the only part I don't have an opinion on, and therefore can't say I agree on, is the part about his wife, because I know nothing about her. But it is bad that she's advocationg Harry Potter...... very bad indeed.
There are some things that the president has done that aren't so great, but for the most part, I support him. I'm really, really tired of hearing everyone constnatly complaning about him and blaming everything that's wrong with the country on him- it's a miracle the man still functions, what with most of the country hating him. Besides, I'm scared to think what the same four years would have been like with Gore as president......... Although I'm afraid that he won't get re-elected, and then we shall have problems, indeed we shall.
I really am scared about what lies ahead......
But anyway, come back soon! I hope you'll be able to catch up when you get back......

Ah, well I'm glad you agree Marigold. Indeed about Gore, also. Who knows how our country would be like now if he had won...
I do not know much about his wife, either, but the fact that he's a christian man with christian values and she's over there encouraging kids to read Harry Potter (is e-vile!) angers me.
Indeed, also about those annoying peeps dragging his name through the mud like that. They should appreciate what they have and that he hasn't sent this country down into a spiraling pit of doooooom. And we shall not give into these darned terrorists! such as Spain, pulling their troops out just because of some attack... look at 9-11! Did we run and hide and give up?! Of course not! Besides, we don't need your troops... wasn't very many of them anyways...
Within the next few days I shall have a post of my trip up in me xanga blog. And hopefully with pictures! If I can remember that blasted web address for uploading pictures...

Yup yup yup. Me too. Don't tell people that reading anything is good, as long as it's reading, tell kids to read good books. Reading good things for the sake of reading is another thing entirely.
And huzzah that you're back! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Oh, and Mip asked me to tell all of you that her family is really getting zealous in their objections to her being on the computer, so it she doesn't come back for a while, or ever, that's what's happened to her. *cries* I'm sure Lëo will keep us updated if she really can't come back, otherwise this could just be a false alarm.

thanks guys. *passes arounds a plateful of the plaid cookies* dear Dom, there is a lot of these left... and there are all the ones from last time this happened! why, there's enough to end world hunger! sorry 'bout the ranting guys. I do not believe I have ranted on Rivendell before... or atleast no big one... I hope no one is offended by my own opinion or anyone else's, and I hope(repetitive, eh?) that, considering who we are and how much we all get along Tolkien-wise, we can put political matters such as this aside and enjoy the Tolkien-y goodness and insane insane-ness of the forum.

I'm currently more concerned about ending hobbit abuse, so....... Let's save them for the next cookie-eating occasion! *munches on a few* I don't mind you rant at all, or indeed anyone else's, and I can only speak for myself, but I'm not sure that the political issues, or indeed anything else, are really a big thing. It's not like we would hold it against each other, would we? Nah! We're all good friends, right? Right? ;D ;D

I hate having people gone, too. It's sad. But now everyone's back.... Wait, isn't Ala on vacation, since she has spring break? That's a lot of sisters! Arwen, I'm very sorry your family likes Harry the Unmentionable..... That must be bad.
