Thank you so much Morgul! *hands a plaid cookie* Yes, he is the canon Faramir. Here is the profile that Lelorinel posted for him. You don't have to go by this but I thought you might like to see it.
Name: Faramir, son of Denethor.
Age: He was born in the year 2983, and Eowyn was born in the year 2905, 12 years later. And since Firi said that Eowyn is 28 years old in this RPG, then I'd be 40, and we would have been married for 4 years now.
Personality: Faramir is a good man, though he was always trying to satisfy his father up until his death. His love for Eowyn has not dimmed since the first day he laid eyes on her, and it will only grow greater as time carries on. He takes his responsibilities seriously, and knows when he is in too deep. His mother was of partially elven blood, and in turn Faramir was gifted with the limited power of foresight.
Weapons: Well, there's his sword, and his bow. I'm not sure that either of them have names...
History: Faramir is the son of Denethor and Finduilas, younger brother of Boromir, Prince of Illithien after Aragorn becomes king. In Denethor's eyes Faramir was always second best. His father expressed many times his favoritism for Boromir. He even said he wished Faramir had died instead. Unlike his portrayal in the movie, Faramir had no interest in the ring, Faramir comes right out and says that were the ring lying on the road he would not pick it up. He does not want the ring or anything to do with it.
As Aragorn ascends the throne of Gondor, Faramir marries Eowyn on August 10th of the year 3019 at the age of 36 after meeting her in the houses of healing after the battle of Pellenor field.
