Ah, no no no! You see, tomorrow is Second Tuesday, which also comes from a seventh grade joke. You see, one Wednesday, about three people (including me..heh..) all thought it was Tuesday. And thus, Second Tuesday. Mwahahaa. Oh, joy. My parents are deciding what classes I'm taking in high school for me. Ex. Spanish. *explodes* I hate Spanish... Uh..back to being a happy post now. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Ok, enough happy.

Woo! An update! Hurrah! Um..this is going to be a very strange post. Just so ye know. I got to miss school today! Woo! Not because I wanted to, though. I just didn't get ANY sleep last night...nyaargh. So I just lay around staring at my ceiling (which I can't see anyway because I'm horridly near-sighted. Ah well.) until like 6 in the morning, when I finally dozed off for like half an hour. And thus, I ended up staying home and napping with my cat for like 7 hours. Fun fun. A word of advice: Never listen to the same radio station for nigh on 17 hours straight. It does strange things to your mind. I did get up for an hour or so and talked to Firi on AIM, where I discovered that lack of sleep makes everything very, very funny for some strange reason. Mwahahaa. And now to post some strange stuf I thought up last night. Yes, that's right, I was thinking about posting on Rivendell at three in the morning. I'm doomed. First off, my mum's insane. I knew this already, but a few hours of thinking about it more made it postable. And I have proof of this. The quotes are all about music though, because my mind is still recovering from the radio thing. (Which I am STILL listening to for some reason) 1. "All of your music sounds the same!" -This could be a very valid remark from someone like my mum. The timing, though, proves this is pure insanity. This was said after I finished playing the songs Beast of Blood and I Am the Walrus. Firstly, the Beatles are her favourite band, I just like the walrus part. Secondly, Beast of Blood is in Japanese. Enough said. 2. "They sound like Weird Al! Are you sure they weren't his backup singers or something? I think they were."- This was said about the band New Found Glory. I'm scared. 3. "*sarcastically* Woohoo, homeboys! It sounds like the homeboy trio!"- This particular scarring quote was said about Linkin Park. First, 'homeboys' is a just plain retarded thing to say, especially for someone as old as my mum. Second, since when have five people made a trio? Be afraid. Be very afraid. My mum's going to kill me if she finds out I posted those..heh... I can't remember what else I was going to post now, and I'm sure you're all bored to death by now, so I shall leave you with a really strange parting remark. Have fun. ^^ I never want to be an octopus. Or a panda. And Mana scares me. Whee!

Yeah..she said the same thing about Blink 182...heh.. ~ We had a talent show today at school! And it sucked! WOO! It wasn't really about talent at all, just popularity. Anyone with actually talent is automatically disqualified, it seems. Ye see, in three years there's been ONE good act in the show...(a band called Utility, when I was in 6th grade). Normally, random popular people who twitch in front of strobe lights to bad music win. Gah. I hate stupid people. And there was some strange stuff this year, even for my standards. ^^ For example, the first act...tap danced to Good Charlotte. If that's not the strangest combination of music and dancing you've ever heard of, then you are an odd person indeed. My cat is snoring. In other news (like you care. Heh. my mum brought home a turtle today! Named Timmy! I'm going to call it A'Tuin, though. Mwahahaa. Hurrah for Discworld. I think I'm going to listen to Sic Transit Gloria...Glory Fades until my brain melts now. Fun fun! Or not. There's always other fun songs to play repetitively. Curses. Why must some songs on Windows Media Player play at different volumes than others? E-vile thing. Mari made me hyper...Wheeeeee *bounce bounce* And the random parting remark for today is..... Give me a minute...uhm...Ah! I know! I believe in a thing called LOVE!!! WOOOO!!! Beware of space squid. ^^ And..uh..comunion with Nimrod! Or something.

Ah. I feel better now. I went back and beat it again in like half an hour, compared to my much longer first time of like an hour. It still didn't let me save, but ah well. I have to go back and redo a bunch of stuff anyway, since I want to get the uber-spiffy movie of doom at the end. I'll just beat it again. Hurrah. I don't get why you have to beat Ansem so many times, though. Why can't the guy just die?? And why does everyone get to look spiffier than Sora? *sigh* I should go figure out what voice Sean Astin did now...hmm...

Just when you thought I was dead....MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Yeah..randomly decided to update. Just because. Huzzah! for me.
I've been dead lately. Parties and such to go to for graduation. There have also been a...few...occasions when I spent all my online time reading webcomics. Heh. I finished reading four years of MegaTokyo and MacHall in four days! Woo for me!
*blink* An old guy on a motorcycle just rode up the sidewalk next to my house. Strange.
Anyway. I got to spend much of yesterday helping my friends Matt and Alex rebuild a computer into a small wire garbage can. Yeah. They're strange ones. It does look really nifty though. They didn't use any screws to hook anything up, instead they just used pink zip-ties. Woo! Not to mention, the fans of the comp glow blue, and we added little blinky lights at random intervals. The vent is pretty spiffy too. They needed an extra vent, but Matt didn't have one, so they decided to use a CD. That's right. The first attempt, where Alex stabbed a multitude of holes into the CD with Matt's old dagger, didn't work, so Matt hole-punched the CD instead. It looks nifty. We got an old keyboard and spray-painted it, too. It covered all the key labels, but it's not black, silver and purple. And sparkly. Oh yeah. It was pretty fun painting it, too, since we're easily amused, and Alex looked like the cover of the Meteora CD whilst painting. Heh. I'll see if I can get a picture of the computer for your amusement. ^^
Right..I can't think of anything else to write. Sorry I've been dead.
You will read MegaTokyo...you will read MegaTokyo....

Wow, it's been awhile since I updated. 0.o
I went to see the King Arthur movie today! I officially hate whoever wrote it! ^^ And now....a long rant on everything wrong in the movie, because Arthur is my legend of choice to study, and I have too much free time.
List of things terribly wrong with the new King Arthur movie:
- Guinevere was Scottish, and apparently, so was Merlin. - Merlin led the guerilla army. -The said guerilla army had trebuchets. -Galahad and Launcelot were the same age, when in fact Galahad is Launcelot’s son, borne of an illegitimate union. -None of the knights save Arthur were Christian. Even Galahad, the Pure, who found the Holy Grail, wasn’t Christian in the movie. -Scantily clad Guinevere went to war with the Saxon men. -Guinevere was found tortured at the castle of a Roman family. -Arthur was Roman. -The knights were unwilling drafted into the Roman army. -None of the knights were British. -Arthur was only half British, and didn’t like the land at first. -Merlin was not the advisor of Arthur, rather his forces killed Arthur’s mother. -Arthur gained Excalibur from the grave of his father. -Launcelot asked to cremated after his death, and was. -Guinevere and Arthur were married AFTER the death of Launcelot. AFTER!! -Launcelot and Tristan were slain at the battle of Camlann. -Arthur, Gawain, and the other knights survived the battle, which they supposedly died in, according to legend. -Guinevere led the Saxon archers and went to battle. -There was no romance between Launcelot and Guinevere. -Gawain was not related to Arthur. -Bors was not a king, and had eleven bastard children. -There was a Round Table before there was a Camelot. -Arthur was not king, rather he was a Roman commander. -Launcelot wasn’t French. -The lead Saxon put a dagger through Tristan’s arm, despite that fact that Tristan was wearing plate armour and mail. -Absolutely nothing about the Quest for the Holy Grail in the entire movie. -There were only SEVEN knights of the Round Table. Arthur, Bors, Tristan, Launcelot, Gawain, Galahad, and Sir Dagonet. What happened to the rest of the knights?? -Tristan had a hawk that magically came to him every once in a while, despite the fact that he had no bait to attract it, and let it fly away at random times. Sure, he was a good falconer according to legend, but I doubt he had a magical hawk like this. -For some reason, Arthur and the knights fought from horseback with swords, instead of using pikes or lances like sensible people. -An army of eight defeated two hundred of so Saxons. I don’t care if the ice broke, that CAN’T HAPPEN. -The knights fought from horseback, despite that fact that a real Arthur probably would have fought on foot. -Launcelot and Tristan were not the greatest knights in the land, they were just...Roman soldiers, or something of the like. -Gawain didn’t seem to have any brothers, unless they were dead....poor forgotten Gareth. -Arthur hated Merlin. -Arthur’s brother and seneschal, Sir Kay, was missing from the story. -Launcelot believed that great knights came back to life as horses. -Tristan was killed in battle, instead of falling ill and dying of grief and injury when he was told that his lover, Isoud, was not coming to nurse and see him before he died. -Despite the fact that he wasn’t aiming at anything, and his bow was very small, Tristan shot an arrow at the Saxon army, which flew toward a tree and conveniently killed a Roman traitor sitting in said tree. -The archers led by Guenevere shot flaming arrows towards the battle field, which caught aflame one thin strip of land, which nicely separated the attacking Saxon army. It also caught fire in seconds, despite being a rather long strip. -Merlin was not a magician, or advisor to Arthur. Nor was he shut in a tree as he was supposed to be. -Launcelot and Gawain (if not the others) were from a place called Sarmatia, which the Director says is Russia. However, Launcelot in legend in French, and Gawain is Scottish. (Woo!)
I’m mostly sure this last battle of the movie was meant to be Camlann. The map shown before the battle said something like ‘Camyllan’, and considering how many things were wrong with this film, I take it that Camyllan is a corruption of the name Camlann, Arthur’s final battle. I may be wrong on this account, but the movie is still really, really screwed up in many things. Rest assured that I will find at least a few more things wrong. Most likely anyway. ^^ Pray, forgive me if anything I said is incorrect. Ah well.

I guess they decided that they didn't like the Arthur legend, but the names were too good not to be used. Some of those things ye said really get to me.. how's it the same story at all, lacking things like Guineve and Lancelot's love, and Gareth?! Ye must have Gareth!!! *huggles Gareth* Yes, okay, so I like Gareth an' Gawain an' Gaheris an' Aggravayne.. but especially Gawain an' most especially Gareth. Why? Because they're spiff.. an' they're Scots. ^^
Anyhow, I take it I shouldn't see the movie? I never really wanted to, and I didn't want to see Troy, either, after I found out what they had done.. why do the film corporations take the legends upon which our literature and society is based and corrupt them within an inch of their life?! *weeps*

*sob* Because they can! *sobs for lack of Gareth, too* He was so spiffy....
But d'ye know what's worse? The film crew (producer, director, etc) all insist that they've done a lot of research, figured out EXACTLY who Arthur was, and that their movie is entirely accurate.
Entirely accurate. HAH! If it's accurate, why is Launcelot there? Launcelot didn't appear in Arthurian legend until the time of Sir Thomas Malory! He is the creation of Malory! Who, by the way, did live until the 15 century. The film was supposed to take place around the 5th.
As for figuring out who exactly Arthur was, I want to know why a DIRECTOR can find this out, instead of the historians who have dedicated their lives to the same thing. And anyway, why do they say it was this Lucius Artorius? What about the British king who lived at the time of Sir Malory? That king did many things Arthur is credited with, plus was called to the aid of Rome and took a sizable army there. Whilst there, he must of have been attacked, for its said he died on route to a town called...Avalon.
Another amusing thing I have come across in my research. The knight Dagonet...was Arthur's fool. A court jester, if you will. And yet, the director goes on about him being the serious one, and such.
*sigh* This will bother me to no end, know. I kind of suggest that you see the movie, Mari. You know, form your own opinion and such. And then I'll have someone to rant about it with, too. ^^ *cackle*

I don't really want to see the movie.. Arthur's story is mostly legend, so don't bother turning it into fact!! He really lived, but there's tons of legend in there, which I like.

I thought about seeing it sometime, but I don't think I will. Everyone ALWAYS says they have done research. It all depends of your view of research I guess. I can just see this directer throwing open a book, reading a few lines, and saying "We did research to back us up." Riiiiiiiiight
