Hey, this is a Josh Groben song, called "Remember When It Rained".
Wash away the thoughts inside That keep my mind from you No more love and no more pride And thoughts are all I have to do
Remember when it rained I felt the ground and Looked up high and called your name Remember when it rained In the darkness I remain
Tears of hope run down my skin Tears for you that will not dry They magnify the one within And let the outside slowly die
Remember when it rained Felt the ground and looked up high and called your name Remember when it rained In the water I remain
Running down...........

Spiffy Arwen. It's kind of sad. I saw it in a Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers movie and he sang it. He did really good too. It was the movie "Shall We Dance."

ooh, I like that song too! One of my favourites. ^^
Here's another one, I recently got into..
The Man Who Told Everything by The Doves
Get out of bed, pick up the phone Time to tell the press Say to myself, I can't do no-one else There's a whole world outside
I'm gonna tell it all I'm gonna sell it all I'm gonna sell Get out of bed Come out and sing Blue skies ahead The man who told everything
And I feel, like I'm losing my head I didn't mean to stay Lives have been wrecked, and I've picked up my cheque Catch a plane out of here
I'm gonna get out of here I'm gonna get out of here I'm gonna sell Get out of bed Come out and sing Blue skies ahead The man who told everything

Squee..another one I like... because I think the lyrics are haunting, and Old English just rocks... is Éowyn's Dirge. ^^
Bealocwealm hafað fréone frecan forth onsended giedd sculon singan gléomenn sorgiende on Meduselde þæt he ma no wære his dryhtne dyrest and mæga deorost.
Bealo...
And the translation...
An e-vile death has set forth the noble warrior A song shall sing sorrowing minstrels in Meduseld that he is no more, to his lord dearest and kinsmen most beloved.
An e-vile death...

My Lady d'Arbanville, why do you sleep so still? I'll wake you tomorrow and you will be my fill, yes, you will be my fill.
My Lady d'Arbanville why does it grieve me so? But your heart seems so silent. Why do you breathe so low, why do you breathe so low,
My Lady d'Arbanville why do you sleep so still? I'll wake you tomorrow and you will be my fill, yes, you will be my fill.
My Lady d'Arbanville, you look so cold tonight. Your lips feel like winter, your skin has turned to white, your skin has turned to white.
My Lady d'Arbanville, why do you sleep so still? I'll wake you tomorrow and you will be my fill, yes, you will be my fill.
La la la la la....
My Lady d'Arbanville why does it grieve me so? But your heart seems so silent. Why do you breathe so low, why do you breathe so low,
I loved you my lady, though in your grave you lie, I'll always be with you This rose will never die, this rose will never die.
I loved you my lady, though in your grave you lie, I'll always be with you This rose will never die, this rose will never die.

Losing My Religion, by REM.
Life is bigger It's bigger than you And you are not me The lengths that I will go to The distance in your eyes Oh no, I've said too much I set it up
(chorus) That's me in the corner That's me in the spotlight Losing my religion Trying to keep up with you And I don't know if I can do it Oh no, I've said too much I haven't said enough I thought that I heard you laughing I thought that I heard you sing I think I thought I saw you try
Every whisper Of every waking hour I'm Choosing my confessions Trying to keep an eye on you Like a hurt lost and blinded fool, fool Oh no, I've said too much I set it up Consider this Consider this The hint of the century Consider this The slip that brought me To my knees failed What if all these fantasies Come flailing around Now I've said too much I thought that I heard you laughing I thought that I heard you sing I think I thought I saw you try
But that was just a dream That was just a dream
(repeat chorus)
But that was just a dream Try, cry, why try? That was just a dream Just a dream, just a dream Dream

Marilyn Manson - Disposable Teens
And I’m a black rainbow And I’m an ape of god I got a face that’s made for violence upon I’m a teen distortion Survived abortion A rebel from the waist down
I wanna thank you mom I wanna thank you dad For bringing this Gah!ing world To a bitter end I never really hated a one true god But the God of the people I hated
You said you wanted evolution The ape was a great big hit You say you want a revolution, man And I say that you’re full of ikki-ikki-ikki-ikki-kaping-NIwom!
We’re disposable teens We’re disposable teens We’re disposable teens We’re disposable We’re disposable teens We’re disposable teens We’re disposable teens We’re disposable
You said you wanted evolution The ape was a great big hit You say you want a revolution, man I say that you’re full of ikki-ikki-ikki-ikki-kaping-NIwom!
The more that you fear us The bigger we get The more that you fear us The bigger we get And don’t be surprised, don’t be surprised Don’t be surprised when we destroy all of it
(chorus)

Well, there's this little-known Irish rock band by the name of Flogging molly...
Salty Dog
I'll wait for you till I turn blue There's nothin' more a man can do Don't get your bollocks in a twist Settle down, don't take a fit Ya drank with demons straight form Hell They almost nearly won as well Ya wiped the floor with victory Then puked until you fell asleep
Blackened was the banshee's wail These boot will never fill her jail So you crawled into an empty boat For the Gulf of Mexico Till Cortez came an' when so did you From the ashes charred and blue Smellin' like a Salty Dog Back from Hell where you belong
Anarchy, the scourge of every sea The Antichrist aboard a rig With us your cutthroat thieves The ship went down we all near drowned Ya stood there on the deck Till the Spanish came and flogged yer arse And dragged you from the wreck
They threw a rope around yer neck To watch you dance the jig of death Then left ya for the starvin' crows Hoverin' like hungry sleepers One flew down plucked out yer eye The other he had in his sights Ya snarled at him, said leave me be I need the bugger so I can see
And ten there's my other favourite flogging molly song.
Every Dog Has His Day
Well I've drunk to drown, on every ocean I've been Lake Tanganyika, where the crocodiles swim Halifax, Nova Scotia to Van Diemen's land Well I drank with the Sultan, down the Suez Canal
Cause Every Dog Has Its Day Like every woman, she gets her own way And if there's a ship that sails tonight I'll captain that too, just to be there with you
Well there was old Jerry Rooney, who was mad as a mule Spillblood Maloney had a head like one too That night on the bridge, with my shovel in hand Well he threatened to kill me, for sure he picked the wrong man
Cause Every Dog Has Its Day Like every woman, she gets her own way And if there's a ship that sails tonight I'll captain that too, just to be there with you
Well there was mutiny in Lagos, aboard the mean ship Skondi Ten or twelve days in prison, till the bastards set me free McCloskey you're free
Cause Every Dog Has Its Day Like every woman, she gets her own way And if there's a ship that sails tonight I'll captain that too, just to be there with you
Now I love the sea and she wants me back So I leave this ol' harbor, with the wind at my back Goodbye mother Theresa, I hope the kids settle down I must head for the Chinas, pray to God I don't drown
For Every Dog Has Its Day Like every woman, she gets her own way And if there's a ship that sails tonight I'll captain that too
Cause Every Dog Has Its Day Like every woman, she gets her own way And if there's a ship that sails tonight I'll captain that too, just to be there with you

All very Spiffy. I love the moon song. I had assumed that "the moon is high" references were from The Lord of the Peeps. There's a funny line in there- "The moon was high, and so was Hobbiton". So, as for songs...... I love this one, but they don't play it on the radio much... Calling You by Blue October
There's something that I can't quite explain I'm so in love with you You'll never take that away And if I've said a hundred times before Expect a thousand more You'll never take that away
Well expect me to be Calling you to see If you're okay when I'm not around, Asking if you love me I love the way you make it sound Calling you to see Do I try too hard to make you smile, To make a smile...
I will keep calling you to see If you're sleeping are you're dreaming If you're dreaming, are you dreaming of me? I can't believe you actually picked me
I thought that the world had lost its way (It's so hard sometimes) Then I fell in love with you (Then came you) And you took that away (It's not so difficult, the world is not so difficult)
You take away the old, show me the new And I feel like I can fly when I stand next to you So while I'm on this phone A hundred miles from home I'll take the words you gave And send them back to you
I only want to see If you're okay when I’m not around, Asking if you love me I love the way you make it sound Calling you to see Do I try too hard to make you smile, To make a smile....
I will keep calling you to see If you're sleeping are you're dreaming If you're dreaming, are you dreaming of me? I can't believe you actually picked me... Am I the only one who actually had to pause before posting to sing the song? Kinda pathetic, really.....

This song is called Mad World and I heard it first on the movie Donnie Darko. It's by Gary Jules. I loved it and ironically Third Watch played it on the show the very next night... Odd... The scary thing is, that was a time when this song described my feelings to a T. The melody to this song is brilliantly composed and haunting, I would love to choreograph something to it....
MAD WORLD
All around me are familiar faces Worn out places, Worn out faces Bright and early for the daily races Going nowhere, Going nowhere Their tears are filling up their glasses No expression, No expression Hide my head I want to drown my sorrows No tomorrow, No tomorrow
Chorus: And I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad These dreams in which i'm dying, Are the best I've ever had I find it hard to tell you, I find it hard to take When people run in circles its a very very Mad World, Mad World
Children waiting for the day they feel good Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday And they feel the way that every child should Sit and listen, Sit and listen Went to school and I was very nervous No one knew me, No one knew me Hello teacher tell me whats my lesson Look right through me, Look right through me
Chorus: And I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad The dreams in which i'm dying, Are the best I've ever had I find it hard to tell you, I find it hard to take When people run in circles it's a very very Mad World, Mad World
Enlargen your world
Mad World....
