I love this game... Here's how it works: We build a ME-themed story, one sentence at a time per post, by using the sequential letters of the alphabet. For instance:
First post: Arwen was tired. Secong post: But she couldn't sleep.
Easy, right?
A hobbit's worst fear is not what most people think.

Before the advent of miniature elephants on an island near Java, hobbits were in fact quite terrified of the golden retriever-sized rats.

'Course they found out the rats were really quite tame, and so in a burst of magical colour and lack of fear, they learned to be scared of a new thing, which was quite scary, because it was so terrifying, it was that scary, and so hobbits learned to fear this scary, scary thing which scared them and became their worst fear.

Fearing this scary, frightening thing was quite acceptable amongst the hobbits, though. After all, it did crazy, scary things like scare hobbits and cause people to skip the letter 'D'.

(Just one sentence, please. Though I'm sorry I skipped D... Great numbers of them would huddle in the Green Dragon, talking about it contunually.

Hobbits are not normally scared of this type of thing, though: it was the thing's gigantically enormous size that frightened them.

It was so huge, that when a hobbit stood next to it, the hobbit cannot see the top...

"Long live the orangutan" cheered the hobbitses.
