I think they would dream... just... what would it look like? Would they see in their dreams? Would their dreams be as dark as their world? Would they reflect what they think the world looks like, and be very bizarre?
Oh, and a domran pondering of my own... X-rays. They're harmful, they're Xs. Were they created by Ecthroi?
