'Thank you. You wouldn't happen to have anything to drink in some pixie sized glasses would you?'
After the bread and butter, her throat was a little dry, and she felt a nice cold drink would taste good. The dragon came back with a juice mix in a small mug. Rain drank it all, happy to have something cold go down her throat. The dragon took back the mug and went back to the high stool.
'So how long have you worked here at the inn?'

'Well, I'm not sure exactly... it depends on what you think too long, and too short of a time is... I guess...' the dragon replied.
'Ah, well then, I will have to just say, you have worked here just the right amount of time,' Rain said. A newcomer walked in, and the dragon jumped off the highstool and to the guest to greet them and give them what they needed. Rain sighed, and jumped down to the floor, her wings helped her break the fall on the hard floor. She walked along the counter, dodging any feet that walked by.
She made her way out into the Inn's courtyard. It was a bit overgrown and needed tending to. Rain walked over to the tree and climbed to the top. She sat on a branch and looked about. It was peaceful, a few birds could be heard in the distance.

Mippin tended at last to all the guests, then she asked Shade if she could take a wee break. Shade approved, and Mippin made her way around the edges of the inn, and out to the courtyard.
Once outside, Mippin streched her golden wings to their full length, and she lifted herself off the ground, then landed once more. She looked up, and noticed a tiny speck, glistening in the trees.
Once more she stretched her wings, and took off, straight up into the air. She lifted her snout, and breathed a large flame. A bit too large it seemed, for a dragon of such miniscule proportions. She at last, fled over to the tree.
Landing on a sturdy branch, she floded her wings behind her. 'Hello, Rain,' she said, not even looking at the pixie beside her.
'Hello' she replied.
'It's a beautiful day, isn't it?' Mippin looked out at the sky. It was very pleasant.
Mippin loved to just fling herself up in the air, and let out a large fire, then fall softly back to the earth. It's what she usually did on her breaks, when it was lovely out.
Rain nodded slowly, but said nothing.
'I thought you might want company, little one.' Mippin said in a sweet voice. She smiled, and spread her wings open, then folded them back.

Walking heavily through thefallen leaves was a dragon, his cherry red scales gleaming slightly in the shafts of light that fell through the half naked trees.
He was about twelve feet tall and almost twice that in length. Of course, this wasn't considered particularly big when it came to dragons.
His silver claws glinted with each step as the light bounced off of them and his strikingly yellow, snake like eyes were staring right ahead of him, at the Wyvern Inn.
It took him a couple more minute to reach the front door to the inn and it was insanely obvious that he would never fit inside. Instead, he lowered himself to the ground and squeezed his snout into the inn. With every breath he took, small puffs of smoke exited his nostrils.
He could hardly open his mouth, but somehow managed to speak.
His accent would have been recognised as a strong mixture of Scottish, Welsh and Irish but of course these accents didn't exist there. There was one thing obvious though, and that was that his voice was soft, gentle and all together benevolent.
"Excuse me, I don't seem to be able to fit in, but I'm weary from a long journey, could ye possible find me a rather large bucket of water?"

Mippin looked down from the tree to see a gigantic dragon approach the inn. Absolutely phenomenal in size, compared to Mippin. She flew down to the dragon, and asked him what he'd like.
The inn was very large, suitable for all beasts so far. There was a rear door for exceptionally large beasts. Mippin led the dragon to this door, and the dragon proceeded in. Mip raced along the edges, and brought the dragon a bucket of water. It was nearly twice her size, so she had to push it along the floor. At last, heaving the large bucket to the dragon, she spoke. 'I'm sorry it took so long, but I am but a small creature, and you are rather large compared to some of the dragons around here!' She smiled sheepishly then proceeded in asking. 'What is you name, please?'

The dragon followed Mippin around to the back of the inn, where there was a much larger door, much to his joy.
The interior of the inn was larger then he had first expected and he found himself able to walk through it freely, although having to keep his enourmous wings folded.
Mippin went off to fetch him some water, which he quite desperately needed. His mouth was dry and he throat was parched and he could hardly wait to drink the fresh water.
After a few minutes Mippin returned, pushing a bucket that was even bigger then herself. He helped her by pulling the bucket towards himself.
Lowering his head he took a long, grateful drink of the cold and refreshing water. It was heavenly.
"My name? Well, ye can call me Tianachi, little dragon. And what, praytell, can I call you?

'Aye. Tianachi it is then. I am Mippin, but feel free to call me Mip if ye likes.' Mippin answered in reply to the rather large dragon. She bowed a bit, then stood up to her full height. Which wasn't very high at all.
'You'll be wanting a room, I'm sure. We should have some nice large rooms where ye shall be comfortable.' Mippin nodded and ran off to book a room. She then came back and led the dragon to the entrance of the room. Making sure the dragon could fit inside and be comfortable.
Mip looked around very quickly to make sure nothing remotely flammable was in the room. When she was certain, she began to chat with the dragon. 'What brings ye to our fair inn, Tianachi?'

Tianachi found the room very comfertable and he fit in it nicely. There was even room to spread his large and leathery wings, which he relished.
He smiled down at the small dragon, Mippin, showing glinting teeth.
"Well, I had heard it was nigh the best inn around. That's what the stories say anyway. My friends back home have a love of gossip and rumours, I happen to hear a few of them. And it just so happens, this inn is on my path. I'm heading to the Mountains to meet other larger dragons."
He sat down and stretched his feet out, yawning. A small flame shot out of his mouth as he yawned and lay down on the floor.
"I need some sleep after my tiring journey, could ye wake me at sunset?"
His strikingly yellow eyes looked at her and another smile graced his face.
Smoke from his nostrils was filling the room.

'Mip, did someone start a fire?' Shade bent her neck around the corner of the main room, from back where she was helping guests to their rooms. 'Ah...'
Quite a large dragon (from her standpoint, anyway), lay happily on the floor, vast wings spread, and smoke from its nostrils filling the air. Mip grinned at her, a tiny golden spot against the larger dragon.
'This is Tianachi,' said Mip. 'He heard that our inn was the best around, so he came here to rest for a bit.'
'The best around, eh? In that case, he's quite welcome to stay where he is,' Shade winked, then flew back to the bar. Best inn around? she thought. That's not too bad at all....

A strange-looking girl strolled into the inn. She was small and slight, with a messy head of tangled pale hair, and large purplish eyes, yet her skin was fairly dark. Her fingers and toes seemed longer than those of most humans, and her build was very slight. An uninformed stranger might take her for a maiden with very unusual genetics, but a careful eye might recognize her as one of the Folk.
She took a look at her surroundings. The inn was filled with a rather eclectic mix of people, if they could be called that. Finally she spotted Shade, and walked over to the bar to have a chat.
"Do you by chance happen to have just plain water?", the Folk girl asked.
Having received her "just plain water", she reclined on a stool and sipped it like tea.
"So, what brings you to the inn?" Shade inquired of her.
"I'm a wanderer, basically. I'm trying to find a place to fit in. Because I'm half-human, I'm not wanted in the Mound. If.. you know what that is..."
"I don't believe I know your name?" Shade asked.
"You can call me Moql. Oh, and I do intend to stay on for some time, so would it be possible for me to have a room with no iron in it?"
Moql wasn't sure how this request would go over. She figured things would work out, but she couldn't be enitrely sure. She was sometimes shunned and driven out of inns, by humans, at least. She doubted a dragon would have the same prejudices. So far she hadn't noticed any iron about the place. Or St. John's wort, either, thank goodness. There was sure to be salt, somewhere, though, so she would had to request that no salt be added to her food. Chances were there wouldn't be any rowan wood about. She shuddered at the thought of rowan wood, and the horrible Hillfire on Midsummer's Eve. Why was she still remembering these things? That was what she was trying to get away from. This might be more difficult than she thought. Perhaps she would be better off in the open again, by herself.#nosmileys#nosmileys

Lewa looked up at the sign above the inn: The Blue Wyvern. A fine name, the smallish, silver-scaled dragon thought, turning his gaze to the building in question. And he could use a drink...
He entered the inn and looked around. There were several other dragons there, one about his size, one smaller, and one many times larger. There was what appeared to be one of the Folk, though Lewa couldn't be certain. She looked vaguely familiar though...
Lewa curled up on one of the benches along the wall, resting his head on the table in front of him. He closed his eyes leisurely. The drink could wait, for the time being; it felt so good just to sit for a moment.

A hooded woman walked into The Blue Wyvern Inn and went over to the dragon serving the drinks.
She pulled back her hood revealing her silver hair. She was not old,or human. Many did not know what she was. She has pearly white skin and her ears were always hidden. Her eyes could blind a pixie, if she was glaring at it.
Some stared at her and thought, Is she a soceress? Or a Animagus? Maybe a mermaid? She was used to whispers , though she did not pay any heed to them.
She simply looked at the dragon and asked,
" Do you have any wine or rum perhaps?"

Rain saw several others walking towards the entrance after Mip had left to help the large dragon. First there was an odd looking girl. Then a small silver dragon. And finally, a hooded woman, who probably looked the most mysterious of the three.
Deciding it would be interesting to see how Shade handled one guest after another, Rain followed the last guest inside. She was quite a distance behind her, but still, the woman seemed aware of her presence, looking around several times. Rain managed to jump inside before the door closed behind the guests.
'You can call me Moql. Oh, and I do intend to stay on for some time, so would it be possible for me to have a room with no iron in it?' Rain heard her say when she walked in.
'Why, yes, I think that is possible,' Shade replied.
Then the last guest to arrive walked over to Shade. She had taken her hood down to reveal silver hair, covering her ears.
'Do you have any wine, rum perhaps?'
'Yes, we have both. What would you like?' Shade responded.
Rain didn't really pay attention to her response. She then looked over to the small dragon that was sitting on the bench and nearly laughed to see the way he was sitting. He looked tired, so she almost felt bad for him, wondering what travels could make him so tired as not to even bother to get a room or order a drink or anything.

A human sized woman with long white hair walked in. She looked around at the beautiful inn with strange yellow eyes. She was dressed all in grey with a long grey cloak covering most of her body. She ordered an ale from one of the cute little dragons and sat down near the bar, watching the many cute little creatures drinking their drinks.
