Right, Welcome to the Blue Wyvern Inn! A few guidelines to be known. 1) This is a fantasy inn, in other words- no Hobbits or Maia, or anything like that. Elves are fine, as are Dwarves. 2) Please refrain from using Quenya, Sindarin, or any other Middle-earth languages or names. 3) Try not to talk about Middle-earth places or events. If you have a suggestion, question, or want to know what races are ok to use, or want to know about a particular Fantasy race (ex. You're playing a gryphon and want to know more about them), PM me and I'll see what I can do to help. ~Shade, Inn Keeper ____________________________________________ Shade slid off the table she had been sitting on, gazing out the Inn's window. A few people were gathered outside, patiently waiting the opening of the Blue Wyvern Inn. The little black dragon took one more glance outside, before disappearing into the back of the Inn. It a rather large inn, made to comfortably house most races of creatures. The walls were gray stone, hardly any wood because of the fire hazard around dragons and other fire races. The large oaken front door was painted a dark blue, and above it hung a large wooden sign emblazoned with a bright blue wyvern enchanted to glow faintly at night. The front of the inn was filled with tables of varying sizes, surrounded by similarily differing chairs and a few benches along the walls. The large bar was polished oak, shining to perfection. In the back of the Inn, where Shade was, were the stairs leading to the rooms. 'Mip!' called Shade. 'Mippin! We're almost ready to open!' A small gold dragon, smaller even that Shade, emerged from somewhere in the back. 'All set back here,' she grinned. Returning the smile, Shade dashed back to the front, where a slightly larger crowd was now visible through the large windows. Sitting back on her haunches before the bar, and spreading her silver streaked wings to look more impressive, she pulled open the doors with a small burst of magic, even including a puff of blue smoke shaped like the Inn's namesake wyvern. 'Welcome to the Blue Wyvern Inn!'

Mippin watched as Shade declared the opening of The Blue Wyvern Inn. She grinned as folks began to swarm in, but hoped that she would not be crushed by any large creature. You see, Mippin was quite the mini-dragon, being little less than half the size of an elf. She was even smaller than Shade. Her scales glimmered with a radiant gold tone, and her fierce copper eyes peered at the large doors.
By now, Mippin was propped up on a rather large stool, behind the bar. Why, how else would the tiny creature be able to see the happenings of the inn? She exhaled a small flame, and out stretched her wings, which had a glint of crimson and silver. Then, she folded back her wings and waited for the first visitor.
As the guests checked in, Mippin scurried here and there to help Shade and make sure that all was right. Her first priority, make sure that the fire-breathing creatures weren't to be put in a room with anything too flammable.
At last, Mippin was able to go back to her stool, where she spent a good deal of time at due to her tiny stature, and waited on a few of the guests. The inn had a good many of those. She watched the guests go about their merry-making happily, and she breathed a miniscule flame into the air, as she often did when she was successful or very content.

(note: when I say elfe, I mean a sort of slender elf creature, not quite a fairy, but not realy an elf) *with a tinkling of bells a young elfe-girl sat down at the bar. By the looks of her clothing, she was a jester * "hail, little dragon" she adressed Mippin "tell me, what sort of drinks do you serve here?" (ooc:she looks like this:

Mippin stretched out her wings as she saw what seemed to be her first guest. As the young jester came up to her, she looked around and made sure she had not forgotten anything. She folded her wings behind her and stretched out to see better.
The jester proceeded in asking what they had to drink. Mippin turned round and pointed from her stool.
"Well, we've got water, a bit of wine and ale. What would ye like?" Mippin spun around to face the jester at the last question.
She served the jester, then slid down from her high perch. Making sure to stay close to the walls of the inn, as not to be crushed. She made her way over to Shade to see if there was anything else she could help with.

A pixie, only as tall as one's hand, made her way into the inn. There was a small design under her left eye, and she stayed close to the walls, careful not to be stepped on.
She snuck behind the bar. A big dragon, or atleast big to her, walked by, and she quickly hid behind a sugar jar underneath the counter. No one could see her there. Her skin was of a blueish color and her hair of a purple color. The dragon walked back and she sat there waiting till she can leave her hiding spot. The light blue tinted wings stretched out behind her.

The pixie peered out from behind the sugar jar. The dragon was no where in sight. The small pixie slipped her head around the sugar jar completely, still no dragon. She finally stepped completly out from behind the jar and took a little sugar out, putting it into a small bag tied around her waist. She walked to the end of the counter. She looked around and still saw no dragon.
Hopping down from the counter she walked carefully around it to the rooms, keeping a watchful eye out for someone that could step on her. She bagan to make her way to the rooms to find a peaceful place to sleep.
She has a design on her cheek that looked like three long raindrops side by side, starting a little below the eye and ending at the cheek. She had light blue tinted wings that stretched out just a little past her head. There was a small green sack that hung around her waist about the size of the front part of one's finger.
She continued back to the rooms. There was one that was slightly ajar, just enough room for her to fit in. She snuck in the door, and looked for a place where she could sleep without being disturbed and could still escape easily if need be. She noticed the room was being occupied and scurried in quickly and hid underneath the bed.

A Flower Fairy flew in the inns door, noting the shy pixie. She was larger than the pixie, but smaller than the dragons. She ordered something to drink, and sat by herself at a table in the corner of the room.

Mippin made her way towards one of the rooms she had overlooked. Overlooking was bad, she didn't want the whole inn to be set aflame by one of the larger dragons or other fire-breathing creatures. As she entered the room, she made sure to look for anything remotely flammable. It seemed that nothing in the room could be easily set aflame, and thus she made her way out.
There was a tiny glimmer, coming from near the bed, and Mippin paused. Letting out a tiny flame of curiosity, she made her way towards the bed. The gleam was gone. As small as Mip was, she decided to take a peek under the bed. There was the small glimmer again. A little pixie hidden under the bed.
"Well, little pixie, I can understand why you are hidden, but wouldn't ye like a room more suited for your stature?" Mippin called out gently to the pixie. The pixie seemed to try and hide herself, but Mippin smiled at the wee creature.
"Come now, I know what it's like to be small. You can come sit by me at the bar, where no one shall step on ye!"
The pixie at long last came out from her hiding place, and Mippin motioned for the pixie to fly along beside her. Staying to the edges, Mippin walked slowly towards the bar, and using her wings for some lift, got up into her high stool. The pixie settled herself on the counter. She had a good view from there.
"So, tell me, miss pixie, what do they call you, and what brings you to the Blue Wyvern?" Mippin asked the pixie after serving a fairy something to drink.

The fairy quitly sat drink the drink she was served by the dragon. She considered talking to the jester. Although quite by nature, she enjoyed talking to others at times. She had been by herself for some time, and felt that she would like company. She walked over to sit wiht the jester.

'They call me Rain, and what is your name?' Rain said. She hung her legs over the counter and swung them back and forth studying the dragon. She was smaller than some dragons Rain had seen, great mighty dragons.
'My name is Mippin. So tell me, what brings you to the inn?'
'I was just wandering about and some of my friends back home had told me of the inn, and I decided to check it out. '

Shade slipped between the larger occupants of the inn, weaving her way over to the gleaming bar. At one end, Mippin sat talking to a tiny pixie seated atop a stool. Closer to the dragon innkeeper, a small creature clad as a jester sat near a fairy. Both were quiet.
A swift flick of black and argent wings and Shade was perched comfortably on the running board built in to the back of the bar. It had been specially put there so that the two little dragons could walk and serve drinks while at the same time, allowing them to see over the top of the oaken surface. Shade leaned over the bar, scaled forelegs resting on its surface. 'Greetings, friends. Welcome to the Blue Wyvern Inn,' she said to the fairy and jester.

"Greetings" said the Fairy to the jester. "Hello" responed the jester.
There seemed to be nothing else to say, so the fairy went to sit by herself again.

Rain looked up at the dragon. After having some experiences with dragons, she had known them to be fire-breathing terrible beasts that had harmed many she knew long ago, but Mippin seemed different, as well as the other dragons here. Rain could sense goodness in their hearts. She now knew that not all dragons were horrible fire-breathing beasts, with hatred filled in their hearts.
'So, do you have anything to eat around here? Im starving.'

Mippin smiled at the little pixie, and offered her a bit of bread and butter to eat, and anything else she would like. Mippin spoke as the pixie nibbled away. "You know, I used to be the smallest creature here, until you came along. It's nice to have someone to sit by and chat with while I work. Shade is wonderful, but as innkeeper, is always busy. I try to help her often as I might."
At that moment, a few guests came in asking for a spot of ale. Happily, Mippin ran along the run serving up the guests. As a show, she emitted a rather large flame up in the air. The inn made Mippin very joyous at heart. She looked out, and when the pixie was done, took her pixie sized dishes.
