Obscure? Um, well I know Viggo Mortenson grew his hair out for the role. Is that who you're looking for?

Wow, that's strange! That's not who I was looking for, and I had the answer on good authority, too! It was on the commentary of Fellowship, the Writing/Direction Team one, so either PJ, Fran Walsh, or Philippa Boyens said it. And I would think they would be pretty reliable. Supposedly Billy Jackson, one of the hobbit kids, was the only "actor" in the entire movie that didn't have a wig. But if Viggo Mortensen grew his hair out, that can only mean one thing........ they were wrong! So, um, in the spirit of fairness against wrongness, I proclaim you right, since they were wrong.

Did they really say that? I might be wrong then. My info came from a trivia section on some LotR site and I saw a bit of an interview with Mr. Mortenson while he was filming LotR and his hair was grown out so I thought that he had. The site could have been wrong though...
But here is a new question....
Which cast member's mother won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar?

Huzzah! Hmm... let's see... Which actor had a wound on their right hand, described as "splotched pink and red, discoloured with bruises. Two lines of black stitches, about four inches in length, running parallel along each side of the wrist, with excess thread sticking out on either end of the incisions."?
